The portal hosts over 400 government services. Some of the most accessed services are:
- Land Services: e-Khajana payments, copy of Jamabandi, mutation (Namjari), and digital patta downloads.
- Certificates: Caste certificates, income certificates, birth and death certificates, and permanent residence certificates (PRC).
- Pensions: Old age pensions, widow pensions, and Divyangjan pensions.
- Utility: Electricity bill payments, municipal property tax, and trade license applications.
How to Register for Sewa Setu Online?
To use Sewa Setu services, you must register a citizen account through MeriPehchan (Single Sign-On). Follow these steps:
- First, visit the official website: https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in.
- Click on the Login/Register button at the top right corner.
- Choose Citizen from the list. You will be redirected to the MeriPehchan login screen.
- Below the login box, click on "New User? Sign Up for MeriPehchan".
- Enter your Mobile Number and click on "Generate OTP". Enter the OTP received on your mobile to verify.
- Fill in your basic details: First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and create a unique username and password.
- Accept the terms and conditions and click Submit. Your account is now active.
Once registered, you can log in anytime using your mobile number and password to apply for services or track application statuses online. That's it!
